We're recruiting staff for our 2017 pantomime Peter Pan!

Following our succuessful run of Cinderella in 2016, we are looking for fun, friendly, competent and enthusiastic people to join our panto team this year.

 

Deputy Stage Manager

Closing Date: 20 October

Interview Date: 24/25 October

Contract Start/End Date: 27 November-31 December 2017

The ideal candidate needs to have interpersonal skills, work well both alone and as part of a close team. The job will include book work, working with the creative team in rehearsals, calling the show as well as other jobs as needed

 

Followspot Operator

Closing Date: 20 October

Interview Date: 24/25 October

Contract Start/End Date: 3 December-31 December 2017

The ideal candidate needs to have good communication skills and work well both alone and as part of a team. The job will entail constructing and deconstructing set, helping set & re-set the stage, follow spoting the production and other smaller tasks. 

 

Lighting Operator 

Closing Date: 20 October

Interview Date: 24/25 October

Contract Start/End Date: 3 December-31 December 2017

The ideal candidate needs to have good communication skills and work well both alone and as part of the lighting & stage team. The job will entail: Rigging & derigging all show lanterns, rig checks before every show, helping set & re-set the stage, learning the focus of all units and being able to refocus when needed, assisting the Lighting Designer during the tech period, cut and sort all gels for the show and any other tasks as required. 

 

Wardrobe Supervisor

Closing Date: 20 October

Interview Date: 24/25 October

Contract Start/End Date: 27 November-31 December 2017

The ideal candidate needs to have interpersonal skills, work well both alone and as part of a close team. The job will entail washing, drying & distributing costumes, ensuring all costumes are set in the correct locations both pre & during shows, completing any running repairs and small alterations, doing quick changes with all cast members and assisting the dame with costume changes.

Are you a qualified Theatre Technician?

We are looking for qualified technicians to join our casual tech team. You should have theatre experience and be an ‘all rounder’ with the ability to operate sound, lights and manage a stage.
